Copper, aluminum, brass, steel and battery rates move every single day. Anyone showing you a fixed price list is showing you a number that was already out of date when it was published. What we do instead is simple: you tell us what you have, we come back with the rate that applies to your load today.
Why we do not publish a price list
Two reasons, and both of them protect you.
- Metal prices are set on the global market and move daily, sometimes several times in one day. A table printed on a website is wrong within hours.
- A single number cannot describe your load. Bare bright copper and copper with insulation on it are both "copper", but the gap between them is large. A published price would tell you the wrong thing about what you are holding.
- Quantity, sorting and your location all change the final figure. Two people selling the same metal on the same day can honestly be quoted differently.
What we can tell you about our rates
We buy to supply mills and recyclers directly, not to resell to another middleman, so there is no extra layer taking a cut before the price reaches you. We quote above the local yard average, and if you already have a written offer from someone else, show it to us. We will look at it and tell you honestly whether we can beat it or not. If we cannot, we will say so rather than waste your time.
What actually decides your price
Five things, in roughly this order of importance:
- Grade. Clean and sorted material always pays more than mixed. This is the single biggest factor.
- The market that day. Copper and aluminum follow global prices, so the same load can be worth noticeably more or less week to week.
- Quantity. Larger loads justify a better rate because the cost of collection is spread across more weight.
- Contamination. Screws, plastic, rubber, oil and glass all get weighed but pay nothing, so they pull down the effective rate per kilo.
- Location. We collect free across the UAE, but a small load from a distant site may be scheduled with other pickups rather than sent a dedicated truck.
How to get today’s rate
It takes about a minute and you do not need to bring anything to us first.
- Take a photo of the material on your phone. One clear picture answers more questions than a paragraph of description.
- Tell us roughly how much there is. Kilos, tons, or "about one pickup load" is enough at this stage.
- Tell us the emirate. We need it to plan the truck, not to change the price.
- Send it on WhatsApp, email it, or fill the form below. We reply with a rate, usually within the hour.
Materials we quote
We give live rates on all of these. Copper and brass move the most day to day, steel is the most stable.
- Copper: bare bright, No.1, No.2, insulated cable, motor windings and AC coil
- Aluminum: extrusion, sheet, radiator, cast and UBC
- Brass: valves, plumbing fittings and machining turnings
- Iron and steel: rebar, structural, sheet and offcuts, plus stainless priced separately
- Lead: sheet, wheel weights and industrial offcuts
- Batteries: car, truck, UPS and telecom, priced by weight
- AC units, chillers, motors, machinery and vehicles
- Plastic: PET, HDPE, PP, LDPE and production waste
A note on weighing
A good rate means nothing if the weight is wrong. We weigh on a certified scale in front of you and give you a weight ticket. We do not apply a percentage deduction "for moisture" or "for dirt" the way some yards do. If part of your load is contaminated, we separate it and tell you, rather than quietly discounting the whole weight.
Common questions
What is the price of 1 kg copper scrap in the UAE today?
It depends on the grade and on that day’s global copper price, so it changes daily. Send a photo of your copper on WhatsApp and we will tell you the exact rate for your grade within the hour.
Why will you not show prices on the website?
Because a published number would be out of date within hours and would not match your specific grade. Rather than post a figure that misleads you, we quote your actual load.
Do you pay more than other scrap buyers in the UAE?
We buy for direct supply rather than resale, which removes a layer of margin. If you already have a written offer, show it to us and we will tell you honestly whether we can improve on it.
Is the price different in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah?
The metal rate is the same across the UAE. What can differ slightly is collection, since a very small load from a distant location may be scheduled alongside other pickups.
Do you charge for collection?
No. Collection, dismantling and lifting are on us and are never deducted from the agreed price.
How quickly do I get paid?
The same day. We weigh in front of you, agree the final figure, and pay in cash or by bank transfer before the truck leaves.
